What Makes This Stroller Good For Travel?

When examining strollers for travel use, there are five pieces of criteria that are the most important: lightweight, deep recline, compact, fold, storage, car seat compatibility. These 6 universal travel criteria are essential for traveling convenience. The Mountain Buggy Nano not only meets these criteria, it is significantly better than most other travel strollers.

Why is weight important?

The weight of a travel stroller is crucial for convenient traveling. When on a trip, there’s already a lot of luggage and stuff to be accounted for. Adding in a heavy stroller will only add to the stress. You’ll not only be responsible for your bags, but a stroller as well. A lightweight stroller will reduce the amount of stuff you’ll be lugging around with you. Lightweight strollers are also good for transporting up and down stairs and for bringing onto public transportation. You never know what will happen on your next adventure, but with a lightweight stroller you can be confident that the stroller won’t be an issue!

Why Is Recline Important?

On trips, you’ll often spend a good portion of the day wandering around and exploring the area. You may not have an opportunity to return to your hotel or room to put the baby down for a nap. With a reclining stroller, your little one can fall asleep with you are out and about. The reclining seatback acts like a bed. Some strollers will have and adjustable footrest to make napping even more comfortable. Some parents use a reclining stroller as an on-the-go changing table!

Why Is Folding Important?

The folding capabilities of a stroller play an important role in a travel stroller. A travel stroller needs to be able to fold up compactly so it can be brought onto transportation. Whether that’s a car, a train, a plane, or a bus, a travel stroller needs the ability to fit into these modes of transportation. An easy fold is crucial for a smooth travel experience. Some strollers have a one-hand fold feature. This allows the parent to hold the child while simultaneously folding the stroller. This is great if you have your hands full and can’t find a safe spot to put your baby when closing the stroller.

Why Is Compactness Important?

You don’t want to drag a huge stroller around with you. A compact stroller will make it easier to store in your car or bring onto an airplane. Some strollers fold down so compactly that they may be stored in an overhead compartment! If you are going on road trip, a compact umbrella stroller will be able to fit in your trunk without compromising baggage space. If you are traveling to a popular destination, a compact stroller will be more convenient for pushing through crowds.

Why Is Storage Important?

On-board storage is helpful when traveling. If you can put your stuff into the stroller’s storage bin, it gets rid of the need to carry extra bags or backpacks. You will want a travel stroller to be able to hold a small diaper bag. Otherwise, you may end up carrying it around all day. Storage is als good for shopping. If you make purchases while out, you can simply store them in the bin! It’s extremely hard to push a stroller around if your arms are full with bags. With adequate storage you can eliminate this problem completely! Just be aware that some storage basket may have a weight limit.

Why Is Car Seat Compatibility Important?

A stroller with car seat compatibility is excellent. If your child falls asleep in the car seat, they can be transferred into the stroller without being woken up. And the same works if the child is asleep in the stroller. No one wants to wake a sleeping baby! Car seat compatibility is also important if you frequently drive or take taxis. Instead of carrying around a car seat and a stroller, they are together as one system (also known as a travel system stroller)! Be aware that most strollers are only infant car seat compatible, and not convertible car seat compatible. Infant car seats are quickly outgrown. However, a convertible car seat may be used for many years. The Mountain Buggy Nano is the only travel stroller that is both infant and convertible car seat compatible!

Why Choose This Stroller?

Why pick the Mountain Buggy Nano over any other travel stroller? What makes this stroller special? First, this stroller meets all the criteria a parent could want in a travel stroller. It is lightweight, has a full recline, compact fold, tons of storage, and most importantly, car seat compatibility. The Mountain Buggy Nano isn’t just infant car seat compatible, it is convertible car seat compatible! This means that even if your little one outgrows their infant car seat, you can attach the Cosco Scenera Next Convertible Car Seat directly to the Mountain Buggy Nano! If you take taxis frequently or need to bring your car seat with you, then you can simply clip it into the stroller. It eliminates the need to carry around a big and bulky car seat in addition to the stroller! There is no other stroller that has this ability. The convertible car seat compatibility makes the Mountain Buggy Nano a frontrunner in the travel stroller category. And because it has this feature, parents may choose to have this as their primary stroller!
