Weight

Very Good – 7/10

This stroller is on the heavier side at 23.5 pounds. While it is not the heaviest stroller out there, the weight may be a problem when the car seat is used in conjunction. Because this stroller is designed for suburban use, the weight will most likely not be an issue for most.

Brakes

Excellent – 9/10

The brakes on this the Graco Modes Sport are easy to use.  There are two pedals located by the rear wheels. Locking and unlocking the brakes is easy, but both pedals need to be pushed down to make sure the stroller is secure and won’t roll away.

Compact

Fair – 4/10

This stroller is not very compact. Even when folded, the stroller takes up a fair amount of space. It would not be great for congested cities. It’s rather wide which allows for a more spacious ride for your baby, but it does not fare well in tight spaces.

“So many people recommended getting a car seat carrier to me, so I was ecstatic to find this stroller did that too. There is really nothing it doesn’t do.”

Ease of Use

Very Good – 8/10

The Graco Modes Sport is straightforward and easy to use. The folding mechanism is fluid. There is a parent console and child tray to hold snacks and drinks, the storage basket is large, and you can bring this stroller to wherever you need to be. Folding

Excellent – 10/10

This stroller only requires one hand to fold. The lever at the top handle begins the folding process. Just make sure that once folded, the locking mechanism is in place. Some parents have commented that sometimes it can come undone, so it’s best to just double check. The folded stroller stands on its own, which can be handy when you only have one hand free.

Grip

Very Good – 7/10

Holding onto this stroller is comfortable for most parents. The handlebar is not height adjustable, but it is on the higher side. Taller parents will have no issues pushing this stroller. However, parents have complained that this stroller does require two hands to push – one hand is ineffective.

Maneuverability

Very Good – 7/10

Maneuvering the Graco Modes Sport is relatively effortless. The three-wheel design lets the stroller turn with ease. The rubber wheels work well on most terrain, which means you can take it to the playground without getting stuck. It is on the larger side, so it may not be the best for very crowded places. The front wheel can lock in a forward position to make it easier to push when out on walks.

“The stroller was easy to assemble, no assembly needed on the car seat. I love the versatility of how many riding options your baby has. Our daughter isn’t here yet but I see myself using all of the features. It’s also great that it’s self standing”
