Durability
Excellent – 10/10
The Doona is a sturdy car seat/stroller combination that is built to withstand impact. Built with high quality materials and will survive the test of time. If you plan on having multiple children, the Doona will last for all your children despite the wear you put this stroller though.
Weight
Good – 6/10
The Doona definitely is not the lightest stroller out there. Coming in at 17 pounds, it can be a bit heavy to carry around with the baby inside. Luckily, this won’t be too much of a problem as the wheels make up for the weight. The only time you’ll find yourself carrying the Doona is up and down stairs, or to load into the car.
Brakes
Very Good – 9/10
The brakes on this stroller are easy to use! Stepping on the pedal located on the right engages the brakes. To unlock the brakes, you simply step on the left pedal. The pedals are color coordinated, with the right brake being red and the left being yellow. This system leaves no room for confusion. The pedals are flip flop friendly, which is great for all times of year and climates.
Compact
Excellent – 10/10
This stroller is extremely compact. Its small size is perfect for the city. The whole frame folds into the car seat for a seamless closure. Since it is a car seat hybrid, it takes up little space in the car or in the home. In stroller form, it’s not much bigger, so you won’t accidentally knock into things while pushing your little one around.

Ease Of USe
Excellent – 10/10
The Doona is super easy to use. With the press of a button the stroller folds or unfolds. The handlebar adjusts to your height. The stroller moves around with ease. There’s nothing complicated with this stroller. Once it arrives in the mail, you’re basically good to go! The Doona car seat can be used with or without a base and installing it is quick and easy. Note that this is only a rear facing car seat.
Folding
Excellent – 10/10
The Doona does require two hands to fold, but the process is easy. First, press the buttons located on either side of the handlebar to push it back. Then, pull up on the red lever on the back of the seat and kick the wheels in. That’s it! No complicated folding techniques. The wheels go up, and you and your baby are in car seat mode! This feature is great because it doesn’t disturb the baby and you won’t get frustrated trying to get it to close.
Grip
Very Good – 10/10
This stroller has a telescoping handlebar that is only able to extend outwards in stroller mode. This prevents accidentally telescoping while in car seat mode. The height of the handlebar is comfortable for most parents.
Maneuverability
Excellent – 10/10
Pushing the Doona is effortless. The wheels move fluidly across surfaces and your baby will enjoy a smooth ride. It’s a great stroller for the city and can weave through crowds without causing you a headache. The chassis suspension compensates for any bumpy surfaces you may encounter while simultaneously making it easier for you to push.

Rough Terrain
Very Good – 7/10
The Doona has suspension, but is not made for use on rough terrain. However, the suspension system will give the Doona some leeway on uneven surfaces. Just be careful it’s not too bumpy for your little one!

The Doona has many accessories to make this stroller your ultimate travel buddy. While the car seat stroller does not come with these accessories in the box, they are available online for purchase. A popular choice amongst parents is the infant accessory, which makes the stroller fit for use with newborns.
Easy to Assemble

The Doona comes assembled in the box! There’s no assembling on your part. The only bit of setup required is putting the car seat base in your car.
Easy to Clean
Very Good – 8/10
The fabric used on this stroller is thick and durable. The best way to clean the stroller is to spot clean it when it gets dirty. The material is easy to clean.

The storage on this stroller is nonexistent. You can purchase a storage bag accessory to attach to the handlebar. But even with the added pouch, expect to carry a bag with you.
Child Comfort
Very Good – 9/10
Your baby will be content riding in the Doona. The seat is soft and comfortable for your baby. The sunshade will protect them from the sun. It’s a smooth ride when used as a stroller. If your baby falls asleep in the stroller, they won’t need to be woken up to be moved to the car. Or vice versa. Disturbing a sleeping baby is not what any parent wants to do, and with the Doona, your baby will sleep soundly wherever you are.
Sun Canopy
Excellent – 9/10
The Doona’s sun canopy offers great protection from the sun. Not only does it provide shade, but the canopy has UPF 50+ for additional UV protection. You can spend a day out knowing that your baby won’t be hurt by the sun.
Suspension
Excellent – 8/10
The Doona works as a safe car seat. It has plenty of cushion and safety mechanisms built into the system that make the ride smoother for your baby. The Doona’s chassis has suspension to make the stroller rides a dream.
