The Quinny Yezz is a well-designed stroller that’s built for traveling.  From the compact fold size, polyurethane wheels, and minimalist design, this stroller was meant to travel the world with you.  This no-frills stroller is perfect for exploring the streets of Europe, taking on public transportation, or even visiting an amusement park.  The origami fold is unique and the carrying strap lets you throw it over your shoulder and be on your way in seconds. It’s clear why this stroller is popular among on-the-go families: the straightforward design doesn’t complicate things.  It only makes traveling with your little one easier.

The following chart rates the stroller for the most important stroller criteria for product specifications, effectiveness, parent preferences, and child comfort.

Very Good – 7/10

The Quinny Yezz is a lightweight stroller built to endure the demands of travel.  It stands up well for travel, but may not be in the best shape years down the road.  Compared to other lightweight and umbrella strollers, the Yezz does perform quite well on the durability front. Some parents have suggested wrapping a towel or other protective material around the wheels during flights for added protection.

Quinny Yezz
The Quinny Yezz’s compact build makes it easy to transport with you. It can even fit in an airplane overhead compartment.

Excellent – 9/10

The Quinny Yezz is lightweight, which is important when transporting this stroller to and fro.  At only 11 lbs, it’s easy to take with you wherever you go.  Carrying this stroller won’t induce any back pain or shoulder stress.

Excellent – 10/10

This stroller has a two pedal braking system.  The right side pedal engages the brake, while the left side pedal unlocks the brake.  It’s flip flop friendly – perfect for those summer vacations.  This two-pedal system eliminates confusion of whether or not the brakes are locked.

Excellent – 10/10

This stroller is compact both folded and unfolded.  Its small size makes maneuvering through crowds an easy task.  When it’s folded, it can be stored in an airplane overhead compartment.  It can also be worn on over the shoulder when not in use.  You won’t worry about accidentally running into people or things with the Yezz.

“We loved how easily it could be folded and unfolded. It feels very light, quite maneuverable, even on carpet. It has a little back pocket that can be used for small things.”

Excellent – 8/10

The Yezz is easy to use and has a virtually no learning curve.  The minimalist design is not difficult to navigate and you’ll be a pro in no time.

Excellent – 7/10

Folding this stroller realistically requires two hands. There is a collapse button hidden in the handlebar.  Pressing the button and using a foot to push the stroller down will fold it.  It has an automatic lock, so once you fold it, you won’t need to worry about it staying shut. Some parents have complained that this process is difficult, but with a bit of practice, it becomes second-nature.

Very Good – 7/10

The handlebar is medium height and is comfortable for parents to hold onto. The foam padded handlebar makes long days out a little bit easier.  Compared to other umbrella strollers, these padding and height make gripping this stroller far more preferable.

Excellent – 10/10

Pushing your child through the bustle of the city and through crowded streets is no longer headache. With the Quinny Yezz, dodging through masses of people is effortless. The scooter-like wheels make it easy to turn and glide over surfaces.

“I liked that the fact that the stroller is easy to operate on both carpet and non-carpeted surfaces. It feels effortless to push around.”

Excellent – 6/10

This stroller was not built to take on rough terrain.  It works far better on smooth surfaces. However, it does handle bumps in the road quite well for a lightweight travel stroller. You should not take this stroller out onto the local hiking trail with you.

Fair – 3/10

In short, this stroller doesn’t really have any accessories.  You may purchase a rain cover, but there are no cup holder attachments or other add-ons. It’s bare-bones design doesn’t leave room for extra customization.

Excellent – 10/10

This stroller takes only a few minutes to put together.  You won’t need any additional tools to get the Quinny Yezz up and running.  Assembling this stroller will be least of your worries.  You can use it soon upon arrival.  Assembling the Yezz is basically just putting the fabric covering onto the skeleton.

Excellent – 10/10

The whole fabric covering is removable, which allows for easy cleaning.  The fabric is made of a plastic water-resistent material, so staining will be minimal. This comes in handy when your baby decides that they don’t want to hold their ice cream any longer.

“This is the only stroller I’ve found that folds up small enough to take right on the plane. So you can completely bypass the line of parents waiting as you get off the plane with your stroller over your shoulder. Your child will be in the stroller in 20 seconds and you’ll be racing off to the customs line.”

Fair  – 3/10

The stroller lacks undercarriage storage. The only storage on the body is a small pocket on the back of the stroller. If you plan on taking this stroller out and about, be prepared to wear a backpack because this stroller won’t hold much.

Good – 6/10

The stroller is good in terms of child comfort. The seat doesn’t recline. The harness does not have padding.  Your little one may be exposed to the sun because of the small sunshade size. It’s not the most luxurious ride for your baby, but they’ll enjoy the extra-wide seat – it feels like a hammock.

Excellent – 6/10

The sun canopy is on the smaller side.  You may want to consider bringing a blanket to cover their legs if the sun is particularly strong. The canopy is not adjustable – it cannot follow the sun.  Older children may find a good portion of their bodies exposed to the sun.

Excellent – 6/10

The stroller doesn’t have a suspension system. The wheels absorb some of the shock, so as long as you don’t take the stroller on very uneven surfaces, the ride will be pretty smooth. The stroller is designed for use on flat surfaces, therefore it is not necessary to have a rigorous suspension system.
