The Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller is an amazing lightweight stroller that is perfect for a stroll in the park. Coming from an established brand such as Evenflo, you will have the peace in mind that your little one is in good care. While it is very much lighter than main strollers, it does not sacrifice great features given its smaller size. While some of the features perform less than perfect and improvements can be made, the versatile stroller is definitely a full featured stroller – a decent deal for its price.

Durability

Good – 6/10

The Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller has decent durability. While its frame and canopy have been reported as flimsy and not sturdy, the stroller has not received reviews of the structure breaking down. The fabric canvas is of a good quality that a simple spot clean is all that’s needed to increase the stroller’s shelf life.

Evenflo Minno Stroller Lightweight

Weight

Very Good – 8/10

The stroller is incredibly lightweight, weighing in at about 17 pounds. However, for an umbrella stroller, it could be even more lighter considering other travel strollers weigh lesser. Offering full features mean that the Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller has to be slightly heavier than strollers with lesser features.

Brakes

Fair – 3/10

The Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller has a two-step foot brake mechanism, which can be a hassle on sloping terrain. The stroller however, received feedback that the brake mechanism can be difficult to press to fully engage and disengaging the brakes is even more difficult. On top of this the brakes are not sandal-friendly.

Compact

Good  – 6/10

This stroller is not the most compact when folded. It is certainly smaller in its folded dimension than most umbrella strollers but still bulkier than other budget umbrella stroller. The Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller however offers a handle strap for you to carry it when folded.

“Oh, and it has a GREAT cup holder (don’t laugh! Kids are exhausting and – at this point – I can’t function without coffee), and a nice oversized shade. Also, pretty easy to assemble. Just pop some wheels on and you’re good to go.”

Ease of Use

Very Good – 7/10

The Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller has its struggle, but most of it is easy to use. The non-adjustable handlebar of the stroller is positioned well and is relatively easy to push and steer for most users. The downsides to the Minno stroller is that recline adjust mechanism is slightly stiff and the wheels are not the most reliable and vibrates over uneven road – certainly not the easiest to maneuver over such terrain.

Folding

Very Good – 7/10

The stroller is decently easy to fold. The Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller has a one-hand self-standing fold mechanism and can be carried by a strap handle when compacted. It is worth noting that some reviewers mentioned that they required two hands to fold even though the stroller claims to be a one-hand fold.

Grip

Good – 6/10

The grips of the handles are padded with foam. The grips are larger in diameter than the Maclaren Triumph Stroller, making it easier to grip. However, the Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller loses out and scores only a 6 out of 10 because the handles are not adjustable. It would be perfect if they were adjustable to accommodate parents with different height.

Maneuverability

Very Good – 7/10

The manueverability of the Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller scores fairly decently. The stroller is great on flat and smooth surfaces, easy to steer and turn around sharp corners with its dual swivel front wheels. However, the stroller has difficulties traversing rough terrains. The front wheel can be locked to ease maneuverability over uneven ground.

“This is a very nice stroller that has worked well for us as a travel stroller with more bells and whistles than your basic umbrella stroller though it does have those few niggles I mentioned above. Worth considering.”

Rough Terrain

Fair – 3/10

The stroller is not built for rough terrain. The wheels shake and tremble when they go over rough terrains. These plastic wheels certainly do not provide the smoothest ride over bumps and lumps. The only suspended front wheels do not offer much help in these circumstances.

Accessories

Good – 6/10

The Evenflo Minno Lightweight stroller does not offer much accessories. The only added accessory it has is the parent cup holder that is detachable. Reviewers have pointed out that a cup holder is all that they need and they love the fact that it is detachable.

Easy to Assemble

Very Good – 7/10

The Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller is easy to assemble. The assembly is straightforward and the instruction manuals are easy to follow. It’ll only take you a few minutes to be ready to stroll.

Easy to Clean

Very Good – 7/10

The canvas fabric on the Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller is easy to clean. The fabric only requires simple spot cleaning with mild soap and water. The fabric is not removable and not machine washable.

“The Evenflo Minno is a pretty good fit for our needs. It is maneuverable, and can handle moderately bumpy sidewalks without tipping or falling over. The ride is very smooth.”

Storage

Fair – 4/10

The amount of storage on the Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller is on the small side. Accessible only from the rear, reviewers have described difficulties in placing items into the basket because of a horizontal crossbar that blocks the rear access.

Child Comfort

Good – 6/10

The Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller offers a decent level of comfort. The seat is spacious and fully padded. The 5 point harness is also padded in the shoulder and crotch straps. The adjustable leg rest lets your little one doze off more comfortably during long walks. However, there is a lack of suspension and a generous canopy.

Sun Canopy

Fair – 4/10

The sun canopy of the Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller is skimpy and not sturdy. It opens to an angle perpendicular to the stroller frame and does not cover much of the body and legs. On the bright side, the canopy do offer an extendable sun visor and a ventilation hole at the back of the seat where the canopy is not attached to it.

Suspension

Fair – 3/10

The suspension on the Evenflo Minno Lightweight Stroller is limited to the front wheels. Little and poor suspension makes the ride bumpy, it would not be the smoothest ride for both your child and you.
