The Baby Trend Rocket Lightweight Stroller does not fail to provide given its simple design and stature. The rocket contains many features that are to be expected in respectable strollers such as a 5-point harness, parent organizer tray, compact fold, and even a decent storage basket for a lightweight stroller. That is to say that this stroller does not come without its faults. The sun canopy’s extension is limited, durability is questionable, and the suspension is not top-of-the-line. Overall, you will get a compact and convenient light-use stroller that is well worth the price.

This strollers recommended use is certainly for light use on simple pavement or indoors. Extended outdoor use will most likely lead to some wear and tear with time.

Rough Terrain

Very Good – 7/10

The rocket is certainly not catered to rough outdoor use. However, it still does perform admirably for its design on more rugged terrain. The tires are plastic as opposed to rubber and non-inflatable leading to a somewhat rougher ride on off-road terrain.

Accessories

Very Good – 7/10

Considering the price and intention of this product, this stroller is accompanied by some nice accessories that parents will enjoy. Primarily, the parent organizer tray will give parents a space to place their keys and phones. There is also a cup holder which can your or your littles ones beverages.

Easy to Assemble

Excellent – 10/10

Easy to Clean

Very Good – 7/10

A quick wipe down should resolve any dirtiness.  The fabric is light and breathable.

“The canopy is a joke — it looks just like the one that came with my $20 stroller, only with less functionality.”

Storage

Good – 6/10

For a lightweight stroller, the size of the under head storage is respectable. What some users report issues with is the accessibility of the storage bin due to the X design of the back frame of the stroller.

Child Comfort

Very Good – 7/10

For such a simple design, you can be assured that your child will have a comfortable ride. The strollers design allows for easy exit and entry and the seat is cushioned well enough and with proper dimensions. Your child will not be experiencing the height of luxury but will fit snuggly and relaxed.

Sun Canopy

Fair – 4/10

The sun canopy is seemingly the weakest link of this stroller. Most users find it useless and will simply remove it. It’s angle cannot be adjusted for optimal shading for your child. Additionally, the canopy is attached by Velcro that will detach at times during rides. Users also complain about how little the canopy extends outward.

Suspension

Good – 6/10

The Baby Trend Rocket Lightweight Stroller will give you a smooth ride on most smooth surfaces and even some rougher terrains. Your little one will not feel like they are floating on a cloud but will be comfortable enough to relax and all asleep if needed.

What do experts say?
