“We love this double stroller. We recently had baby #2 and we were looking for something easy to fold while traveling. We originally owned the Chicco single umbrella stroller and are currently very happy with the double. It is easy to fold, it reclines for younger infants, and there is a decent amount of storage space underneath.”

This stroller maneuvers well due to its large, swivel front wheels. The turn radius of this Chicco is very impressive and makes it suited for crowded plazas and busy streets. It is easy to push even when there are 2 children on board!
“Overall we love this stroller for our twin 2 year olds! We wanted something compact and lighter to travel with. It takes up about half the space when folded as our Chicco tandem stroller. This is a great stroller for traveling when you are tight on space in your vehicle. My only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish it had 2 drink holders and the canopy was larger. It does not block the sun, so pack sun hats and sunglasses.”

Rough Terrain
Good – 5/10
This is not the best stroller for families who like to go off-roading and traverse rough terrain. Despite its suspension system, it has difficulty maintaining a smooth ride on bumpy surfaces and even sidewalks at times. This stroller is used best on flat surfaces.
Accessories
Very Good – 7/10

Easy to Clean
Very Good – 7/10
It is possible to remove the canopy and foot rests for easy cleaning. All of the fabric on this stroller is easy to wipe clean and maintain for the duration of its use.
“I love this stroller. I have a double Babytrend tandem style and it was too big to fit into our trunk. I bought this specifically for our trip to california. I needed something small enough for tight airport spaces, and tiny rental car trunks. This worked perfectly and I adore it. Easier than my old stroller to steer/push. Taller handles so I am not hunched over. (I am 5’9) Has a basket underneath which is awesome. The cup holder broke off within 2 days but I can live without it. I love this thing.”

Storage
Good – 10/10
Storage on this stroller is optimal. There are pockets on different parts of the stroller for extra storage, and the undercarriage basket is large enough to suit all of your needs. There is a lot of the room in the baskets, and everything is easily accessible even when the seats are reclined.
Child Comfort
Excellent – 9/10
The Echo model provides a smooth ride for children with the exception of rough terrain. The seats recline to an almost-flat position, and both the seats and footrests are independently adjustable. Additionally, there is adequate seat padding on both seats.
Sun Canopy
Good – 5/10
Unfortunately, many reviewers agree that the canopy on the Chicco Echo was not large enough to fully protect their children from the sun. The sun shades do not come out far enough to block all angles of the sun, and they can fall off easily.
Suspension
Very Good – 7/10
The dual front wheels of this stroller come with a sturdy suspension system that helps the front wheels lock and unlock. However, it can be hard for this suspension system to make rides on rough terrain smoother.
What do experts say?
“One of the most affordable double buggies on the market, the Echo Twin is lighter than it looks and surprisingly sturdy too.
Pros
Unisex design, hardwearing and padded fabric, quick assembly, multi-position backrest and legrests, easy to fold with one hand, newborn to toddler.
Cons
Quite wide, not great for newborns who can’t support their own head, sun hood not that effective.” – Made for Mums
“It is a well built, light and compact stroller designed for the twins on the go. Its fabric is of high quality and the frame is really durable. It certainly performs better in terms of maneuverability and flexibility, comfort and storage as compared to other such strollers. I love this chicco.” – Top Strollers Reviews
