The Baby Jogger 3026 City Mini GT Double Stroller is an overall solid stroller that does basically everything you want it to do. It has a strong durable build, and many nice features that you will immediately appreciate like large wheels, a 5 point harness, large canopy, and separate reclining ability. The stroller does not feel like a luxury item but it certainly has a premium build so if you are able to shovel out the money, this stroller is highly recommended. The only slight downsides are the lack of suspension and the lightly heavier than average weight.

Very Good – 8/10

Many users report having this stroller for a long time and are happy with how durable it is. What also helps is that the stroller is fairly large and so can accommodate your child as they grow throughout the years.

Weight

Good – 5/10

This stroller clocks in at just over 32 pounds. This is not the heaviest stroller on the market but it is certainly not lightweight. users have reported difficulty lifting the stroller into and out of the car.

Brakes

Very Good – 8/10

The brakes on this stroller are placed on the side of the adjustable handlebar. The hand toggled operated brakes are responsive, effective, and easy to use which gives all parents comfort.

This stroller has a very compact fold for a double stroller. The fold leaves the stroller nearly flat which makes for east storage. The dimensions of the stroller are 30.12″ x 30.12″ 11.22″ inches.

“I gave the City Mini GT Double 5-stars because as a non-jogging stroller, it truly is a 5-star stroller.”

Ease of Use

Excellent – 9/10

Everything about this stroller is easy to use. The fold is simple and quick as well as the assembly. The 5 point harness is intuitive, the wheels allow for easy maneuverability, and the handlebar is adjustable. All of this means you will have a hassle free time managing this stroller.

Folding

Very Good – 7/10

The folding procedure is fairly simple. All is needed is 2 hands to push up on the handlebar and the fold will happen almost automatically. The stroller will even self lock with a clasp once the fold is completed. Unfortunately, this cannot really be accomplished with just one hand.

Grip

Very Good – 8/10

The resting height for this stroller’s handlebar is at a good medium length. If you happen to be particularly tall or short then the handlebar can extend fairly far or be pushed down to accommodate your height.

Maneuverability

Excellent – 9/10

Great maneuverability is a plus for this stroller. Despite its heavy build and wide frame, the 4 large wheels allow for easy pushing and turning which you will surely enjoy turning corners on city streets or maneuvering through people and obstacles in the park.

“This stroller truly fit the bill. I am hard to please and get easily frustrated with poorly executed design. So far, I’ve only found one flaw: when a Maxi Cosi car seat is snapped in using the adapters, the other seat’s canopy does not open or close well. Other than that, it’s a beautiful stroller and I am very satisfied.”

Rough Terrain

Very Good – 8/10

This stroller actually defies expectations and performs well on rougher terrain and surfaces. The wheels are large at over 8 inches and are all terrain. Instead of being filled with air, these “forever-air” rubber tires are filled with a light foam that will ensure they will never go flat.

Accessories

Good – 6/10

Considering what the stroller already has, the accessories and features are pretty good. That being said, there are some important accessories that are left out and must be purchased separately. The handlebar is adjustable, the canopies do have peak-a-boo windows, and a multiple position recline. But the stroller is missing a parent console, child trays, and cup-holders.

Easy to Assemble

Very Good – 8/10

Assembly is incredibly easy as all that needs to be done when taking the stroller out of the box is to pop on the wheels.

Easy to Clean

Very Good – 7/10

Users report that the seat fabric for this stroller is compliant when cleaning as it is simple and rugged.

“This stroller is much roomier and accommodates their legs soooo much better than our previous that made them look like giants sitting in a miniature stroller. Wish I would have purchased it sooner.”

Storage

Very Good- 7/10

The undercarriage storage bin is not the largest bin on a double stroller but it definitely gets the job done. It is easy to access from behind and there are two large mesh pockets behind the seats that provide a lot more space.

Child Comfort

Very Good – 8/10

Your little ones will be truly comfortable sitting in this stroller. The seats are plush and have mesh backings that make the seats breathable. The seats can also separately recline so that your two little ones can leisure at different angles.

Sun Canopy

Very Good- 7/10

This stroller’s sun canopy extends out far as to provide optimal protection from the sun. The material is UV 50+ and does have 2 peak-a-boo windows on both sides of the stroller.

Suspension

Good – 6/10

The suspension on this stroller is not great. There is only suspension on the front 2 wheels. However, the high quality wheels of the stroller do somewhat make up for the lack of suspension.

What do experts say?

“The super easy fold makes it great for travel as well as everyday use in/out of cars.  Its manageable size for a side by side double makes it doable in urban environments. In fact, it is one of the only side by side doubles I see on the crazy streets of NYC.  In my opinion, the City Mini GT double is one of the best on the market.” – The Wise Baby

“This baby can fit almost anywhere!  This is my “NORMAL SIZED” front door.  The average door is 36″ and the stroller is 29.75″ wide.  The City Select is 25.75…so it’s only 4 inches wider.” –Baby Cubby
